While this is studying bloggers, and not necessarily marketers per se, the lessons are fascinating. Successful bloggers focus much more heavily on data-driven research, promotion, and quality. Less successful bloggers focus more on intuition, frequency, and earned traffic. Focus on inputs, not outputs.
